Galileo Galilei wrote about the Universe "Philosophy [nature] is written in that great book which ever is before our eyes -- I mean the universe -- but we cannot understand it if we do not first learn the language and grasp the symbols in which it is written. The book is written in mathematical language, and the symbols are triangles, circles and other geometrical figures, without whose help it is impossible to comprehend a single word of it; without which one wanders in vain through a dark labyrinth." . In abstract, "Mathematics is the language with which God has written the universe."

I have 2 friends who discuss about the 2 main problems of science: the universe and consciousness. And I ask myself the question: can the art I make help to understand the universe?

As an artist I intend to portray the universe, which following Galileo, will have a strongly abstract, strongly mathematical background, if you prefer strongly artistic Islamic face.

Dodecahedral moon is a work of art in this context. Some will see it as a Champions League football, a truncated icosahedron or a fullerene, but I can only see a dodecahedral moon. Although the video was made in Blender, the work is not modeled with my hands but with my humble mathematics. After all, the universe must be simple and respond to simple rules.
